![]() Seto Kaiba longs to finally defeat him, but finds every attempt by his research team to formulate a strategy to defeat the Gods fails and overloads their computers. As a result of his this and his past victory in the Duelist Kingdom, Yugi has become famous around the world for his masterful strategies and possession of the God cards. The events of Battle City have just concluded, and Yugi now owns all three Egyptian God cards. On February 1, 2018, it was announced by Fathom Events and 4K Media that the film would be getting a remastered re-release in 800 American theaters through March 11 to 12. It has also been turned into an ani-manga. The musical score and the sound effects are all completely brand new and American-made, and there is no original Japanese music or sound effects in the English dub of the movie. The characters and naming are the same as the English version of the Yu-Gi-Oh!, or Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters television show. It is a seemingly "alternate explanation" of how Yugi Muto solved the Millennium Puzzle and features the inclusion of Anubis (who has not been mentioned outside of the film).
